Pigeon pea

As pigeon pea is a leguminous crop so it does not require much fertilizer. 

Harvesting of Pigeon pea (Tur) done, twice a year. Pigeon pea is harvested in such a way that the stem is cut as far as the legumes are planted on the plant.

12-15 kg seed per hectare should be given in pigeon pea crop. If pigeon pea is taking with other crop then 5-6 kg seed per hectare should be given.
