Optimum pH range for growing of cabbage is 5.5-6.5 and plants growing in saline soils are prone to diseases. Relative humidity about 90-100 % is suitable for growing of cabbage.
For its cultivation, 400-600 mm annual rainfall is appropriate.
The best thing about this crop is that when there is a frost during growing the crop, then the taste of this crop become even better. Cabbage crop can tolerate frost & more heat also.
